A motorcycle accident in Morgan County claimed the life of a Fentress County man and troopers said he may have died days ago.

Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers said 31-year-old Scott Anthony Rich of Jamestown was driving east on State Highway 61 in Lancing when he lost control of his bike in a curve, went down an embankment and struck a tree.

The accident was discovered around 6:30 p.m. Friday, but troopers aren't sure when the crash actually happened.

They said Rich had been missing for several days.
