
For the first time, the Wings Over Big South Fork air show will go to two days. Bluegrass artist Sierra Hull will headline Friday's free show.
Mike Mancuso and CC Gerner will be highlights of the air show on Saturday.
The air show is set for September 11 and 12 at the Scott County Airport. Admission is free to fans holding one of the 10,000 tickets distributed throughout the Big South Fork area.
Otherwise, admission is $5 at the gate. The Friday bluegrass show is free to all. You can find out more about Sierra Hull at the Rounder Records website.
The Friday night show will also feature the Whitney Phillips Band. Gates open at 5 p.m.
Personal airplane rides will be available from 5 p.m. through dusk. Other attractions will be available.
Friday night wraps up with the Starfire Night Skyshow, a 15-minute night aerobatics display including computer-controlled lighting and fireworks effects.
The traditional air show begins Saturday at 8 a.m.
Donations to Friends of the Big South Fork are encouraged.
