Making Dessert For Mom


2 cups heavy cream

1 cup milk

¼ cup of sugar

1 tbsp. vanilla extract

2 scoops of gelatin


In a saucepan, stir together the milk, heavy cream and sugar, and set over medium heat. Bring to a full boil, watching carefully, as the cream will quickly rise to the top of the pan. Bloom 2 gelatin sheets in cold water then add the gelatin to the mixture stirring until completely dissolved. Cook for one minute, stirring constantly. Pour chocolate syrup in to six individual dishes and then add the panna cotta mixture on top. Cool for 3 hours or overnight. Garnish with chocolate shavings, coconut flakes and dehydrated fruit. Serve with chocolate syrup, chocolate and coconut shavings, dehydrated pineapple and strawberries.
