KNOX COUNTY - All aboard the Christmas Lantern Express!
The Three Rivers Rambler made its seasonal transformation Friday in Knoxville. Guests got to enjoy hot chocolate and gingerbread men at the depot before taking a trip with local celebrities and Santa.
Channel 10's own Becca Harbegger was that celebrity reader on Saturday. She read "The Christmas Lantern" by Karen C. Bishop to passengers before Santa made a grand appearance, handing out an early gift to children.
Because of wildfire dangers this season, the train has switched over to diesel power instead of steam.

The Christmas Lantern Express will continue to run on weekends through the holiday season and each weekday on the week of Christmas until Thursday, December 22. The trip lasts around 90 minutes to two hours.
