WINFIELD, TENN. - UPDATE: 5 p.m. Friday: The two people killed in the Friday morning crash on Highway 27 in Scott County have been identified.
Jeffrey Maney, 28, and Margaret Bridges, 60, were killed in a head-on collision, according to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at 9:47 a.m. when, according to the report, Maney, while traveling north on Highway 27 crossed into the southbound lane and struck Bridges head-on.
According to the report, neither drivers were wearing safety belts.
THP does not cite drugs or alcohol as a factor in the collision, but tests have been requested, according to the report.
No charges have been filed.

Few details are available at this time because first responders are still on the scene, but the Tennessee Highway Patrol confirms that two people had died.
A TDOT spokesperson reported that the road was partially blocked as a result of the crash.
