UT Police have released photos and surveillance video of a person believed to have vandalized the UT Pride Center over Labor Day weekend.

The video shows a white male wearing a light blue button down shirt and khaki pants approach the Pride Center at night. He appears to place a piece of paper inside a window of the center.

Another video shows the person rip a rainbow flag off a flag pole outside the Pride Center, and then jog away from the building.

A third video shows the person walking back toward the Pride Center, pick up the torn flag and walk away.

Students returned from the holiday weekend to find the ripped rainbow flag outside the Pride Center on Tuesday, and a note inside the Pride Center with a homophobic slur.

Anyone with information about the person is asked to contact UT Police at 865-974-3111 or UTPolice@utk.edu.
