Tin Roof in Rocky Hill will become Thirty Three's

A popular west Knoxville night spot will be changing names and concepts.

The Tin Roof in Rocky Hill, located at Northshore Drive, will become Thirty Three's in the next few months. According to a press release, it will offer locally sourced custom burger options, a massive beer can selection, and a one of kind outdoor beer garden to its guests.

"Tin Roof will remain in Knoxville at the Cumberland Avenue location, but we feel the Rocky Hill neighborhood is the perfect fit for our new concept," said Bob Franklin from the restaurant group that owns Tin Roof and will own the new Thirty Three's concept. "We are building a place with great quality local burger options where our patrons can watch a game or hang outside in the beer garden. We'll have over 50 different varieties of canned beer from all over the world."

The name comes from 1933, the year that canned beer was first mass produced in the US, and the year that prohibition ended.
