Knoxville police are investigating the discovery of a woman's body found Wednesday near the railroad bridge along Neyland Drive.
It appears the woman, thought to be age 50 to 60, was homeless and that her death was due to natural causes, according to Knoxville Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk.
The body was not believed to have been at the site for long. People jogging and taking pictures of the bridge found the body shortly before 1:30 p.m.
The Knoxville Fire Department and KPD were on the scene
