Just hours before Michaele Salahi was an univited guest at a White House state dinner, she was at a Georgetown hair salon, where she'd made a last-minute appointment.

And the woman who did her hair says Salahi was "so excited." Hairdresser Peggy Ioakim says Salahi told her that she and her husband had received an invitation in the mail. She says she asked to see it, but never did.

She says Salahi told her that she had called the White House to "make sure that she was going to be dressed appropriately."

Salahi and her husband, Tareq, somehow made it through security with the 300-plus people who were invited to the dinner Tuesday for the Indian prime minister.

The Secret Service maintains that President Barack Obama was never in danger, because the couple went through a security screening.

But Ronald Kessler, who wrote a book on the Secret Service, says the couple could have been carrying biological or other weapons that wouldn't have been detected.

Bravo Media confirms that on the day of the dinner, Michaele Salahi was being filmed around Washington. She's being considered for the upcoming reality show "The Real Housewives of D.C."
