A DVD taking on the issue of national security is hitting mailboxes across several swing states.
Across the US, 28 million Americans will receive a copy. The DVD is a 60 minute film called "Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West."
A group called the Clarion Fund paid for the film's production and distribution. They're a non-profit group which means they're not allowed to explicitly endorse any political candidate or party.
The Clarion Fund says their main goal is to educate the public about national security issues. The DVDs were distributed at both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions this summer."Obsession" came out on DVD two years ago, but this aggressive mail-out comes just seven weeks before the presidential election.
"I think it's more the politics of fear, which is in the last thing we need," said Florida resident Cathy Delany after viewing the DVD.
Chad Woolf watched "Obsession" and was impressed by it. He says the film targets 'radical' Islam, not the entire Muslim faith.
"It is important to distinguish between radical Islam, jihadists, al Qaeda, and the Islamic world as a whole," Woolf said.
