Lane Kiffin continues to reel in the top talent in the nation. Thursday evening he added another big time name to the 2010 commitment list.

According to Volquest.com, 4-star kicker Michael Palardy of Ft. Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas announced he is coming to the University of Tennessee.

Palardy has several scholarship offers including LSU, Alabama, Arkansas and Auburn. He chose Tennessee over 12 other scholarship offers. He is considered the top place kicker in the nation by Scout.com.

Palardy told Volquest.com earlier this week that Eddie Gran was one of the main reasons he liked Tennessee.

"Coach Gran is a real Christian guy. I know he'll take care of me. For me it's going to come down to where I feel the most comfortable and where I fit in best. Not the amount of playing time that I get because wherever I go I'm going to compete. I don't expect anything to be given to me. It's going to be where my heart lies and where I feel happy comfortable."
This is the Vols' 12th commitment for the 2010 recruiting class.
