Eric Trump tweets ballot selfie, then deletes it

Eric Trump tweeted a photo of his completed ballot from New York state, then deleted it shortly afterwards.

An attempt to overturn the arcane, 100+ years old law about showing a completed ballot was rejected last week by a federal judge in New York. The reason: ballots are meant to be secret, and not shared with the world.

Entertainer Justin Timberlake got the Internet talking about ballot selfies after he shot one during early voting in Tennessee and posted it on Instagram. The Internet howled, several states reminded that it was illegal, but took no action, while some states, notably Vermont, invited voters to take all the photos they wanted.

Many Trump voters lit up Twitter Tuesday with their own ballot selfies, which may or not have been legal. Their Twitter handles didn't list their location.
