Noah Dean and Nate Act heads to governor's desk

The state House has unanimously approved the Noah Dean and Nate Act, which would require marina owners to install safety breakers that shut off power if there's an electrical leak.

It would also require annual equipment inspections and signs warning about electric shock risks near docks.

The bill is named for Noah Dean Winstead and Nate Lynam, who died when they were electrocuted at a dock in 2012.

It now heads to the governor's desk.
