Five Fort Campbell soldiers were injured Wednesday night during a routine training exercise at the military base.

Five Fort Campbell soldiers were injured Wednesday night during a routine training exercise at the military base.

According to the base's public affairs office, at about 10:30 p.m. a helicopter made a hard landing on Fort Campbell.

All five soldiers aboard the aircraft suffered injuries and were taken to medical facilities. The base is not releasing the extent of their injuries at this time.

The incident is under investigation. Check back for updates.
