Curling is a popular Olympic sport. Now, the Great Smoky Mountains Curling Club (GSMCC) wants to teach you how to curl!

Wednesday, November 30th, January 11th and January 15th, their crew will teach you to master the sport. It's from 8:15 p.m.-10:30 p.m. at the Ice Chalet in Bearden.

The GSMCC is a non-profit arena curling club and they are dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of curling in East Tennessee.

The group was established in 2004 and they currently curl Sunday and Wednesday evenings at the Ice Chalet at 100 Lebanon Street.

All you need is comfortable warm clothing and clean athletic shoes. GSMCC will provide the sliders, brooms, and rocks.
