Knoxville-based IdleAire (now spelled "IdleAIR") has 21 sites in 9 states.
A local company that found new life last year is expanding.
IdleAir started providing services at the Pilot Travel Center in White Pine Thursday.
The company allows truckers to cut their engines to reduce emissions, but still have access to internet, air conditioning and cable television.
The business revived when Convoy Solutions bought the brand, after the original IdleAire company went bankrupt and shut down.
IdleAir officials say the company's services are more helpful than ever.
"It's a savings over idling the truck, which costs a gallon of fuel per hour, which in most locations is $3.75 up to $4 dollars, per gallon of fuel so that's an hourly cost. We are less than half the cost of that for our services," said Mike Fielden, President of IdleAir.
IdleAir is also operating at the TA Truck Stop off Lovell Road in West Knox County.
