Utility work over the weekend will cause some lane closures in Downtown Knoxville.

KUB will reduce traffic to one eastbound lane and one westbound lane on a section of West Church Avenue between Market Square and Walnut Street from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Crews will be working on the natural gas system in that area. If there is time after the Church Avenue work, KUB crews will also work on natural gas repairs on Union Avenue between Market Street and Walnut between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
