Some local elementary school students learned a valuable lesson about helping others this year.
On Tuesday, 2nd graders from Concord Christian School presented a check for $420 along with household supplies to the Ronald McDonald House in Knoxville.
The students collected the supplies from home, and held a fundraiser called Project Christmas to raise the money. They made treats and crafts to sell to other students, as part of a lesson on being consumers and producers of products.
