Knox County continues to have the lowest metropolitan unemployment rate in Tennessee.
The state released March county-to-county unemployment numbers Thursday.
Knox County's rate is at 5.7 percent, down .4 percent from February.
Loudon and Blount counties also have some of the lowest unemployment rates in the state at 6.7 and 7.1 percent respectively.
On the other side of the spectrum, Scott County continues to have Tennessee's highest unemployment rate at 17.1 percent. But, the county did see improvement from February to March.
