Kentucky State Police are looking for two men who stole a car at gunpoint early Tuesday morning in Harlan County.
Around 7:00 am, Kelley Smith said he was driving on U.S. 119 in the Wallins Community when two men walked into the middle of the road. He stopped, and one of the men got into the passenger seat and demanded that Smith drive to Longton Road. When they reached that destination, Smith said he was assaulted, threatened with a knife, and ordered to get out of the vehicle.
Kentucky State Police Post 10 are looking for the stolen vehicle, a Gray 2006 4-door Nissan Altima, with the Friends of Coal license plate number 9635DM.
The only description the victim could give was two white males, wearing t-shirts and shorts.
Smith was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.
