Bloomberg Philanthropies is offering the grant. It's a nonprofit founded by New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg.
From sustainability to economic development, the group is looking for innovative ideas other cities can benefit from.
So, if you have an idea for Knoxville, the city has opened up an online survey. From now until August 10, the city will be collecting proposals.
