An East Tennessee family grew a little bigger Thursday.
While on a mission trip to Haiti two years ago, Stacy Cox met young Onise, and he says when he came back to Knoxville, he felt like he left something behind.
That's when the Cox family decided to adopt the young girl, and after two years of working and waiting for their new family member, she finally came home.
"We're going to show her her room. We're going to relax. It's been crazy the past few days in airports, and all the things that's been going on. We're just going to get her to settle in and have a little peace, meet the family and maybe go swimming," said Stacy.
