Senator Bob Corker visited the Y-12 Security Complex Tuesday for a classified briefing in the wake of the break-in that led to a shutdown of nuclear operations at the site.
Corker's office tells 10News the senator learned more about the response to last month's incident.
Based on what he saw and heard, Corker feels officials are taking the right actions to ensure it never happens again.
Three protesters, including a Catholic nun, are facing federal felony charges.
Officials say they cut their way into the complex before hanging banners and splashing human blood on a building where nuclear material is stored.
