Visitors to the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area
and the Obed Wild and Scenic River will be asked to fill out a survey to give park managers a better understanding of the visitor experience.

The surveys are voluntary and anonymous, and will be passed out to a random number of visitors over a seven day period in September.

The surveys will find out where park visitors are coming from,
what they like to do when they come to a park, their opinions out park facilities and interpretive programs, and what park
features and qualities are most important to visitors.

The questionnaires are stamped and addressed, so visitors can fill them out at any time and mail them back.

A report of the findings will be compiled and made available on the parks' webpages.

The visitor use survey at Big South Fork will be conducted September 4 through September 10, and the survey at the Obed will be conducted from September 11 through September 17.
