A member of one of the Tennessee Volunteers' most famous families is out with a new comic novel about college football.
Inman Majors, the nephew of a former Vol player and coach Johnny Majors held a book signing Thursday evening at Union Avenue Books in Downtown Knoxville.
His new book is called "Love's Winning Plays." Major says it's about a graduate assistant coach who tours small towns promoting the team.
He says the book is a satire, so there's one thing he hopes everyone gets out of it.
"A lot of laughs. That's it. It's not serious at all; it's a very light read-- crazy comedy. So I think, I love football, but I'm also poking a little bit of fun at it too. So I hope football fans will love it, and even people who aren't football fans will find it funny," he said.
This is his fourth book. Majors' Uncle Johnny was also at the event supporting him.
