A check for tens of thousands of dollars will help fight childhood cancer, thanks to people here in East Tennessee.
More than 400 people took part in Saturday's Cure Search Annual Walk on Volunteer Landing.
Many boys and girls who survived cancer attended the walk. Those who lost their battle were remembered with pictures on shirts.
Organizers said their goal was to raise $50,000 this year.
The money is raised by individual teams.
