Have you seen Gizzy, the Marmoset monkey?

Clarksville police are trying to find the small South American monkey after it was taken during a burglary on Sept. 28.

Douglas Jackson told investigators that someone broke into his Denny Road home between the hours of 11:15 a.m. and 6:40 p.m. and took the monkey, which is valued at $3,000 and originally belonged to Jackson's grandmother.

No other property was taken during the incident, Jackson said, adding that he double checked to make sure the door was locked before leaving.

When he got home, the door was open and his dog was running around outside, police said.

Investigators are asking anyone who has information about the burglary or the monkey to call their TIPSLINE at 931-645-8477.
