A widespread movement to stand up against drugs and political corruption in East Tennessee and southeastern Kentucky will return to the region in three weeks.
More than 8,000 people from Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee marched to Cumberland Gap in Claiborne County, last year, as a part of the Stand in the Gap coalition.

November 4, there will be marches held in six different locations to accommodate more people over a larger region.
Edwin Robertson, Stand in the Gap Coalition Coordinator, said he expect more than 10,000 people to show up to the New Tazewell event.
"We have such a widespread effort," he said.
Since, last year's march, Stand in the Gap has worked to spread its across the region. Robertson told 10News, the group would even like Washington lawmakers to establish a federal task force in the Tri-State area that could enforce drug laws without having to worry about state borders.
He said federal authorities met with each other earlier this month in Harrogate.
