At a community forum Monday night, Dr. McIntyre explained a few options for redistricting once the school is finished
Tuesday night, parents will have the chance to weigh in on plans to redraw the districts for several west Knox County elementary schools.
Superintendent Dr. Jim McIntyre will host the first of four parent feedback meetings to discuss the plans.
The meeting will be held at Cedar Bluff Elementary School, from 6-8 pm.
The rezoning only affects elementary schools in southwest Knox County. It's necessary because the school system is adding a new elementary school to help with overcrowding in that area.
Three more parent meetings will be held before the board votes on the plan in December.
