A boy is recovering in the hospital after officers said he fell off a parade float in Jamestown Saturday morning.
Fentress County dispatchers said the wheels rolled over the child around 11 a.m. They said the boy was flown to UT Medical center with a small skull fracture but no brain swelling.
The child is expected to be released from the hospital in the next two or three days.
