Gregory Comer of Knoxville is facing burglary, theft, and felony vandalism charges after police say he robbed the EZ In and Out Liquor Store on Chapman Highway.
According to a Knoxville Police Department press release, officers were called to the store on the 6200 block of Chapman Highway around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a robbery in progress.
The suspect had run away by the time the officers arrived at the store.
A witness then told police the suspect had been seen at the nearby Lakeview Motel.
At the Chapman Highway motel, officers aided by two K-9 teams found the suspcet in a hotel room.
Police found evidence from the store in 57-year-old Comer's hotel room.
