A convicted sex offender has been indicted for failing to register in Knox County, and it's not the first time.
According to the Knox County Sheriff's Office, the Sex Offender Registry Enforcement Unit arrested Gregory Lynn Cramer, 61, in February at World's Fair Park. He was charged with six counts of failure to register as a sex offender.
Investgators said Cramer came to Knoxville after being convicted in Roane County in 2010
for failing to register as a sex offender. He was convicted in Ohio in
1992 of gross sexual imposition and again in 1997 in Indiana on two
counts of child molesting and two counts of attempted child molesting.
He is being held in the Knox County Detention Center on a $60,000 bond.
