Dozens of East Tennessee kids gathered Wednesday for a holiday performance.
Students from the Jewish Day School performed songs and dances from Willy Wonka in full costume for members of the Boys and Girls Club. Then after all the singing, Jewish Day School students taught kids from the Boys and Girls Club the dreidel song and dreidel game.
The Boys and Girls Club says the holiday event was about having fun while learning about other cultures.
"We always look for opportunities to seek those kinds of rich cultural experiences so that our club members have an opportunity to see other parts of our community," said Program Director Christina Bakersmith.
Singers from the Jewish Day School also performed Willy Wonka at the Pellissippi Theater and at other local schools.
