Knoxville Police Department is searching for two male suspects involved in a North Knoxville armed robbery on Saturday.
According to a KPD press release, officers responded to the Pizza Hut on Cedar Lane at approximately 3:00 p.m. Witnesses reported that two young men robbed the store at gunpoint. Officers said both suspects were armed and hid their faces, hands and feet. After robbing the store, witnesses said the suspects fled the scene on foot.
KPD is using a K-9 unit to track the two suspects, and the Violent Crimes Unit will be following up on the case.
