Highway 68 is closed in both directions in Rhea County after a rockslide near the Cumberland County line.
It happened around 5 a.m. Monday near a scenic overlook.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is directing traffic around the closure through the scenic overlook.
Authorities hope to have the road cleared and ready to reopen by 5 p.m.
