The Knox County Sheriff's Office arrested one man and is searching for another accused of robbing a North Knox County CVS pharmacy early Sunday morning.
Deputies said Keith Richard Kirkland, 29, of Knoxville allegedly walked into a CVS pharmacy on E. Emory Road, gave a note to the pharmacist and demanded medication shortly before 1:50 a.m. After getting a bag filled with medication, Kirkland fled the scene in a silver Honda.
After short police chase, authorities arrested Kirkland in the woods at Reed Drive shortly before 2:30 the same morning.
KSCO has charged Kirkland with robbery. His bond has been set at $25,000.
