An Overton County man is behind bars, after sending inappropriate messages to a young girl on Facebook.
Ryan B. Clark, 21, of Monterey, is charged with three counts of Solicitation of a Minor after an investigation by the Knoxville Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC).
The 12-year-old girl's parents found out about the messages, and alerted authorities, and they launched an undercover investigation.
Clark is being held on a $25,000 bond at the Knox County Detention Facility.
