A student is now facing charges in a hoax that put a college campus on lockdown.
Wednesday night, officials at the University of Virginia College at Wise put the school on lockdown after reports of a gunman on campus. The school is about two-and-a-half hours from Knoxville.
UVA-Wise later lifted the lockdown, saying the report of a gunman was a hoax.
