A school of pharmacy in Knoxville is one step closer to getting full accreditation.
Wednesday, South College School of Pharmacy announced the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education granted the school a candidate status. That means graduates get the same privileges as graduates of a fully accredited program.
South College says this achievement will allow the pharmacy school to apply for full accreditation in 2015.
