Knoxville police are investigating a purse snatching at a Cedar Lane convenience store.
According to a KPD press release, several witnesses chased a suspect who grabbed a woman's purse from her arm outside the Weigel's at 300 Cedar Lane around 8:45 p.m. Monday.
The witnesses were not able to catch the suspect who escaped on foot in the dark.
The investigation is ongoing.
