A Dandridge man was arrested Saturday for possession of crack cocaine and hydrocodone after a routine traffic stop.
Newport police say Jordan Ray was pulled over on US25/70 because he had a headlight out. During the traffic stop, Ray was charged with driving on a revoked license.
Officials say when Ray was taken to the jail and searched, they discovered three hydrocodone pills, 10 small crack rocks, and a large piece of crack cookie clenched between his buttocks. Officers say 15.3 grams of crack cocaine were seized as well as $100 cash.
