Knoxville Restaurant Week
Downtown workers, dwellers and visitors will receive a free preview of Knoxville Restaurant Week's special menus at Taste of Knoxville Restaurant Week on Market Square on Thursday, Feb. 21, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
From Feb. 24-March 1, Knoxville diners will be treated to a special week of great meals for a great cause. Three-course meals will be offered at a special fixed price of $25 or $35 at more than 40 local restaurants, and $5 each meal sold goes to Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee to feed hungry East Tennesseans. In two successful years, Restaurant Week has allowed Second Harvest to provide more than 200,000 meals.

Carol Mayo Jenkins
Carol Mayo Jenkins, a native of Knoxville and a renowned actor internationally, will be awarded the Clarence Brown Theatre Society Achievement Award at this year's Gala event, Sunday, Feb. 24, the night of the Oscars. Knoxville actor David Keith, who was honored with the first such award, will present the award.

Carson Newman Piano Performance
Dr. Ryan Fogg, Carson-Newman University Associate Professor of Music, will collaborate with C-N Accopmpanist Joseph North in a one-night performance on February 19 at 7:30pm in the Thomas Recital Hall. The Performance will feature concertos by Liszt & Prokofiev along with the Paganini Variations of Lutoslawski.
