A car sharing service popular in large cities around the country is set to launch in Knoxville on Wednesday.
Drivers who become Zipcar members will have access to a car to use for short trips around town.
The city council approved adding the Zipcar service in January and voted to put in a few 'Zipcar only' parking spots downtown.
The first will be on Gay Street and the UT campus for students who don't have cars.
