It's been a little more than a year since Florida teen Trayvon Martin was shot and killed, and this weekend, his parents will be special guests at a Knoxville event.
It's called "The Gathering," and is hosted by Overcoming Believers Church. The goal is to create a dialogue between community leaders and the community.
The event begins at 4 p.m. Saturday at the church.
