An East Tennessee teacher welcomed a surprise visitor to her classroom on Friday.
Janey, one of the first class maids with the Titanic Museum Attraction, visited a seventh grade classroom at Gresham Middle School.
Each year language arts teacher Lynn Dare spends a week with her class focusing on different aspects of the Titanic sinking, so the museum decided to surprise Dare with a book she can use in her instruction.
"When they are creating something new and something different in which they are very interested they realize that learning is a terrific adventure," said Dare.
After the presentation, Janey took part in a question and answer session with the class.
