One of Knoxville's most popular restaurant chains is expanding into Maryville.
According to Bart Fricks, the Chief Operating Officer of Copper Cellar, the company will open a Calhoun's restaurant next to the Smoky Mountain Brewery of Lamar Alexander Parkway in Maryville.
They hope to open up in late summer or early fall, but are still awaiting approval on their final plans.
There are four Calhoun's locations in Knoxville, one in Loudon County, two in Sevier County, and one in Nashville.
The Copper Cellar Family of Restaurants owns and operates Calhouns and Smoky Mountain Brewery, along with Copper Cellar, Cherokee Grill, and Chesapeakes.
