The board that oversees the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame has a new name and new members.
Sports Management, Inc. has changed its name to Hall of Fame Management, Inc.
It split with the Knoxville Tourism and Sports Corporation back in March after KTSC forced former president and CEO Gloria Ray out of her position.
The chairman of Hall of Fame Management says the name change better reflects the mission of the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.
New members elected to the board include outgoing UT Women's Athletic Director Joan Cronan, Lady Vols Head Basketball Coach Holly Warlick, Carol Evans of Legacy Parks, and Inside Tennessee panelist Susan Williams.
Three current board members will continue to serve.
