Dave Parrington will tell you he's a better coach than he was a diver.
"I would have to say ya....I found at a real young age that i really knew that i knew how to teach and coach."
Parrington has produced 73 All-Americans, 23 SEC Championships and 6 national champions.
Now he's the one being honored as part of the newest class of the Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame.
