The Philadelphia Flyers have posted an official announcement this morning on NHL.com.
"The
Philadelphia Flyers have signed restricted free agent (D) Shea Weber to
an offer sheet. There will be no further comment at this time," general
manager Paul Holmgren said in the statement.

News broke late Wednesday night that highly-coveted free agent defenseman Shea Weber had reportedly signed a 14-year offer sheet worth more than $100 million with the Philadelphia Flyers.
TSN's
Darren Dreger tweeted the scoop, and added that Weber's old team, the
Nashville Predators, have seven days to match the offer. If the
Predators don't match, they could receive up to four first-round picks
in compensation, depending on the figures of Weber's deal.
Dreger
followed up with another tweet: "Nashville was working on a trade and
its believed several deadlines passed before Flyers grew tired of
waiting. Weber signed offer sheet."
Losing
the 26-year-old Weber would be a major blow for Nashville, having
already lost Ryan Suter to the Minnesota Wild via free agency.
