Maryville and Lenoir City battle for the District 4-AAA championship in the USA Today High School Sports Game of the Week.
The Rebels come in riding a 38-game winning streak while Lenoir City is having its best year since 1996 with an 8-1 record.
The Panthers have added an effective rushing attack to their dynamic passing game this year. Running backs Jordan Willis and Caleb Wilson have given balance to the offense.
Safety Ryan Weaver won the Defensive Player of the Week award for his great performance in Lenoir City's win over Farragut last week. The junior recorded 15 tackles, intercepted a pass and forced a fumble.
Maryville has won 11 consecutive district titles and pounded Lenoir City last year, 40-0.
